hh_mirrorJD held on to the owls several minutes longer than necessary, wondering whether the offending owls should be sent or not. Enclosed on one was a note to Jack Harkness, who he met at his sorting. He was nervous because he'd never actually went on a date with another man before. There was also the more common what if he doesn't like me? thing going on. The other owl had a note to a Mr Morphin. "Screw it." he says and launches the poor birds out the window.
