Due to the fact that I am really fucking bored, I'm now holding office hours. Come by to chat if you have a question about class, your homework assignment, or if you're just really fucking bored, too.
Hideki gulped at hearing about his limbs possibly being torn from him if reading was neglected. "I will, professor." Definitely.
"What kind of plants will you be covering?" Do I want to know?
As for the issue of the word bloody, Hideki decided to keep that in mind, as other people might use it in that context. He didn't want to seem completely ignorant, after all.
"Oh, we're covering all kinds of plants," said Crowley casually. "Poisonous ones, stranglers, fanged, and thorned, plants that can help you breathe underwater or whose scream will put you into a coma, ones that make noise or change colour or are full of disgusting but useful pus. It's a pretty interesting subject. But right now we're just experimenting on perfectly ordinary geraniums."
[[ *DIES* Crowley just probably sent Hideki into a conniption.. I love you. >D And the icon rocks. >D ]]
Thorned? Fanged! Poisonous? Stanglers? Coma? What the hell was Chii thinking when she signed up for this class? What if something happens to her? Damn it! I have to sign up, to make sure nothing bad happens to her, no matter what, and yet...I don't want to. No choice.
Through out hearing the characterisics and possible side effects of handling the plants on Crowley's class, Hideki started to turn very pale and slip into his seat; his breathing sped up. His voice, when he finally used it, had a definite squeak in the beginning he had lacked before.
"Geraniums? That sounds good to me. Wait...what kind of experiments? And should I get one if I'm to get in your class for the next time you meet?" Yes...best to focus on the Geraniums, then wonder what Chii had gotten herself--and what he had followed her--into later.
((*laughs* Aw, thanks! I try! :D But I'm afraid that I can't take credit for the icon. Azi-mun made it. Aziraphale's geranium is named Beatrice. XD))
Crowley smirked at the evidence of the boy's nerves. Some of them were just too easy.
"Everyone is picking an activity to do with their geraniums for ten minutes a day to see how well they respond. No one is really torturing their plants apart from maybe Wimsey and Kira, and possibly Mr. Maturin depending on how well he plays the cello and if he has given the thing a more reasonable home. Some people are reading to it, poetry, ghost stories, comic books, the bible, whatever, and others are talking or singing, playing music, watching tv, etc. You come up with something you think will help it to grow. I find that terrifying them into growing works very well for me. Pick up one in greenhouse #3 and try to stay away from the other plants in there..."
((He... doesn't really go in for titles. He doesn't call any of the other doctors or lords or anything else by their titles either, if that makes any difference. If it bothers you I'll stop, but on the whole, I'd rather he just call everyone Mr. and Miss.))
(( Doesn't bother me in the slightest and wouldn't bother Maturin either, or he'd have said something about it IC. Just wondered whether there was something I was missing! ))
"Right.... Stay away from the other plants," Hideki muttered, eyes somewhere on the ceiling as he got up from his seat. "I'll think of...something to do with my geranium. Something normal, like read. I could read my study books to it." All of this was said in an absent tone, as though this was really the least Hideki's concerns.
Walking to Crowley's greenhouse he knew what was most important--staying alive once inside.
Still in the office, though, Hideki gave Crowley a bow, but not as deep as the earlier one. Not from a lack of respect, though. "Thank-you for your time, Professor Crowley. I'll get a plant as soon as possible." And won't go anywhere near anything else in there. No worries about that.
