Kidnapped by cultists!

The following invite is sent out via the postal service to all the following people:

However, since it's via postal service as opposed to snail mail, there's no guarantee that they'll actually reach their recipents at Hogwarts...

((OOC explanation is that with Nightwing-mun away for a week and me in the middle of midterms, we needed to get Ryuuji and Nightwing out of the RP for a little. So, they were kidnapped. By cultists. Crazed slash fangirl cultists, to be precise, who have this plan to marry Ryuuji and Nightwing off, then perform a ritual sacrifice to the God of Gay so that everyone in the world will turn homosexual. Even the bisexuals. ~~And if you're wondering why they're making Nightwing the 'uke', it's because Ryuuji's got the more dominant personality. And he's taller.~~ Feel free to have your char receive the invitation and be confused, if you like. Ryuuji can't answer owls at the moment since he's being held captive, but messages asking 'WTF?!' are welcome. As are congratulations on his French/choice of marriage partners.))

"Yay!" His nose twitched. "I am very glad that you and Doctor Stephen are happy. I am sure Mister Bignose would be happy too, if he could talk. Right now he is enjoying the ants that came for the honey that Ryuuji sent us."

"Ants. Oh... dear." River did not like the idea of ants in the room in which she still kept some of her things. "I hope he's eating all of them?"

"Yes, he is. He seems to find them very tasty."

Fillerbunny's ears trembled again, and in a slightly anxious voice, he said, "Miss River? I like living with Mister Bignose, but after you and Doctor Stephen get married, where will Mister Bignose and I live? Will we be moving?"

"That's good. And why would you and Mr. Bignose have to move? We wouldn't do that to you." She certainly wouldn't; which effectively decided the matter.

"Okay. As long as we can stay close by and see you lots." It wasn't actually possible for Fillerbunny to conceive of guilting anyone, and that certainly wasn't what he was trying to do. He was, however, aware that he had not seen River quite as often as he might have liked, and he wanted to make sure that she'd be close by. He didn't fear for his safety quite so much since Voldemort had been turned into a popcorn kernel, but he still was unwilling to let his guard down entirely.

River picked up on Fillerbunny's thoughts. "Of course I'll be around--- have to look out for you. Though I haven't been doing a very good job lately," she added, her initial guilt at having neglected her friend coming back. "Sorry about that. I got... kind of caught up with... Stephen." She blushed. "I'll have to come by more often."

"I would like that very much," he said, a little plaintively. But he perked up almost instantly. "I think Mister Bignose would like it too. He is very friendly and he likes people."

"I know. He was awfully nice the first night I came to Stephen's room. Not much of a conversationalist, but I didn't expect him to be."

"It's nice having friends," Fillerbunny said contentedly. Friends who wouldn't be taken away from you. Who wouldn't -- No, not going to think about that. He snuggled up against River with a happy little sigh.

"Not going anywhere ~~except back to bed with Stephen but that doesn't count~~," River assured him. "Want to sneak down to the kitchen? I bet we could find some carrots for you."

"Ooh! Carrots! Let's go!"

"Want to sit on my shoulder? So you can see everything?" River asked as she started for the kitchens.

"Hurray!" River's shoulder was one of Fillerbunny's favorite perches. He really had missed her quite a bit, and this in particular.

River beamed at Fillerbunny's reaction. "Missed having you here." The route to any place in Hogwarts being subject to change without notice, she was occupied for some moments with finding her way.

Fillerbunny relaxed on his perch on River's shoulder, feeling infinitely pleased with the world, with his friend's happiness, and the fact that there would soon be carrots.

River finally found the door to the kitchen and let them in. "Here we are--- I think the elves will just give us food if we ask them...."

Fillerbunny waved to a passing elf. "Hello! Are there carrots?"

There were carrots. There were also dumplings, and tea, and fresh water for Fillerbunny, and a table at which to eat them. River settled down with the full tray the elves brought. "Do you want to sit on the table?" she asked, setting the plate of carrots in front of the seat next to hers.

"Sure!" Fillerbunny climbed carefully down her arm and sat down next to the plate. He nibbled a carrot and looked up at River with wide, happy eyes. "This is the best ever," he said. He had almost forgotten what carrots tasted like, once. He didn't ever want to forget again.

"Yes." River nibbled on a dumpling. "Won't let you forget." She grinned at him and petted his little head. "We'll have to make snack raids more often."

Mouth full, Fillerbunny merely nodded. He pushed aside a couple of carrots to bring back to Mister Bignose.

"Maybe we should get him a few other things, too." What did aardvarks eat? Stephen would know.

"He likes ants. But I do not think the house elves have ants handy," Fillerbunny said, a little sadly. "And he ate all the ants that came when the honey spilled."

River giggled despite herself. "We'll have to ask Stephen what else aardvarks eat. So we can bring something back for Mr. Bignose next time."

Fillerbunny nodded. "Doctor Stephen seems like a smart person. I guess that's why you like him."
