Kidnapped by cultists!

The following invite is sent out via the postal service to all the following people:

Bertie, Chii, Cthulhu, Edgar, Fillerbunny, Maturin, Mokuba, Oz, River, Sara, Shizuka, Tim, Victor, Seto, Sluggy, Nny, Teatime, Luna, Kira, Severus, Voldemort, Crowley, Aziraphale, Alucard, Adam.

However, since it's via postal service as opposed to snail mail, there's no guarantee that they'll actually reach their recipents at Hogwarts...

((OOC explanation is that with Nightwing-mun away for a week and me in the middle of midterms, we needed to get Ryuuji and Nightwing out of the RP for a little. So, they were kidnapped. By cultists. Crazed slash fangirl cultists, to be precise, who have this plan to marry Ryuuji and Nightwing off, then perform a ritual sacrifice to the God of Gay so that everyone in the world will turn homosexual. Even the bisexuals. And if you're wondering why they're making Nightwing the 'uke', it's because Ryuuji's got the more dominant personality. And he's taller. Feel free to have your char receive the invitation and be confused, if you like. Ryuuji can't answer owls at the moment since he's being held captive, but messages asking 'WTF?!' are welcome. As are congratulations on his French/choice of marriage partners.))

River grinned: Fillerbunny had brought up what was fast becoming her favorite subject. "He's... amazing. More than he lets himself be, I think, in some ways." She wasn't sure how much Fillerbunny would want to hear about the darker aspects of what she and Stephen had in common, however. "So many reasons to like him. We're... more alike than we know, sometimes, he and I."

[identity profile] experimentbunny.livejournal.com 2006-03-22 03:37 pm (UTC)(link)
Fillerbunny's understanding of friendships and relationships was very simple. If someone treated you nicely, and you had some things in common, then it was natural that you should like each other. As for marriage, it was something that people did when they really liked each other, and as for sex ... well, he had no concept of that at all.

He probably would have found it horrifying, in fact.

So while the subtleties of what River said went rather far above his little rabbity head, River's happiness was certainly not even slightly in doubt, and he was very happy for her in turn. "Oh, that is very good. I hope I get to know him better. I guess I will, since you're getting married and all."

River giggled a little at Fillerbunny's thoughts--- "really liked" was one way of putting it; the idea of a human knowing more about sex than a rabbit amused her vastly. "I hope so, too." She ruffled Fillerbunny's ears, and decided that the rabbit didn't need to know any more about Stephen's... scientific... habits than he did.

Fillerbunny finished off his carrot. "Doctor Stephen's friend brought other animals too. But none of them are as nice as Mister Bignose."

[identity profile] r-tam.livejournal.com 2006-03-24 04:32 am (UTC)(link)
"Dr. Stephen's friend--- oh, Captain Aubrey. I was too busy angsting because Stephen was avoiding me wasn't paying enough attention at his sorting. I hope the other ones are being nice to you, though?"

"The crab is boring. And I have not seen the lemur in a while. I think it went to look for some more to drink." Fillerbunny made a face.

[identity profile] r-tam.livejournal.com 2006-03-25 05:02 am (UTC)(link)
"It drinks? You mean, alcohol?"

[identity profile] experimentbunny.livejournal.com 2006-03-25 06:19 am (UTC)(link)
"Maybe? It does not smell very nice, that is for sure."

[identity profile] r-tam.livejournal.com 2006-03-25 06:24 am (UTC)(link)
"Hmm... well, I like the smell of alcohol, some kinds anyway--- Stephen has good whiskey in his room. But it probably wouldn't smell the same to a rabbit." She giggled. "If it is alcohol, the lemur will find a lot of it in the common room!"

Fillerbunny giggled too, but then he looked a little puzzled. "Why do people drink that stuff, Miss River? It smells very bad and reminds me of -- that place."

[identity profile] r-tam.livejournal.com 2006-03-25 06:46 am (UTC)(link)
"It can make you feel good, sometimes. Relax you. And some kinds of it taste good."

[identity profile] experimentbunny.livejournal.com 2006-03-25 06:49 am (UTC)(link)
"Oh." The bunny contemplated this prospect. His experiences with chemicals had pretty much nothing to do with any kind of good feelings, certainly not relaxation, and definitely not taste. "I suppose it is one of those human things. Me, I would rather have me some carrots," he said firmly. "And maybe some edible flowers, like the ones Ryuuji sent me from his trip."

[identity profile] r-tam.livejournal.com 2006-03-25 06:55 am (UTC)(link)
"Ooh, he sent you edible flowers? He's so nice!" She thought for a moment. "We'll have to plan for Fillerbunny Day when he gets back!"

[identity profile] experimentbunny.livejournal.com 2006-03-25 04:00 pm (UTC)(link)
"Oh yes! I had nearly forgotten about that!"

[identity profile] r-tam.livejournal.com 2006-03-26 05:36 am (UTC)(link)
"Oh, you shouldn't forget your own holiday! But I don't know when Ryuuji will be back--- weddings can distract people a lot. And honeymoons." She giggled mischievously.

[identity profile] experimentbunny.livejournal.com 2006-03-27 03:39 am (UTC)(link)
"Honeymoons? Oh, that is the trip that comes after the wedding. Will you and Doctor Stephen take a honeymoon?"

Any subtextual reasons for River's mischievous giggle went right over Fillerbunny's head.

"Oh, I hope so! He has a castle in Spain that we really ought to visit, for one thing." River decided not to mention that they probably wouldn't get out of bed long enough to do any sightseeing since it wasn't as if they did anyway.

[identity profile] experimentbunny.livejournal.com 2006-03-27 11:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Castles, travel, weddings ... it was all a great deal for a little bunny to contemplate. He was quite sure, however, that it must all be very good for Miss River, and for Doctor Stephen too, and thus Fillerbunny himself was pleased as well.
