Dear Professor Crowley,

I’d like to join your Herbology classes if it’s not too much trouble to add me to your roster at such a late date. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
-Merlin

Dear Professor Snape,

If it’s not too much trouble, I’d like to place myself under your Potions tutelage. I hear you are one of the best in Britain and it would be an honor to learn from you. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
-Merlin

Dear Professor Voldemort,

As I mentioned to you in my sorting I wish to learn as much as possible. If it’s okay with you, I’d like to enroll in your Defense Against the Dark Arts class. I understand that I’m a bit late and will make up any work you require of me. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
-Merlin

Dear Professor Greyback,

I’d like to enroll in your Care of Magical Creatures class. I understand that I may have makeup work, due to the late date at which I have arrived. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
-Merlin

Dear Professor Lupin,

If it is not too much trouble, I would like to join your Transfiguration classes. I realize that I am enrolling a bit late and hope that I can catch up on any work I might have missed. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Dear Professor Dumbledore,

Dear Professor Butlertron,

I don’t think my body is quite up to playing Quidditch anymore. However, I’d be delighted if I could sit in on your lessons and learn the rules and other general information about the game. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
-Merlin

Dear Professor Mihara,

I’d like to join your Muggle Studies course. Please excuse my lateness in signing up. Having lived among them for some extensive periods of time, I am sure I can make up any work I have missed with little to no problem. Thank you for your time and consideration.

-Merlin

Dear Professor Glory,

Dear Professor Wooster,

I’d be pleased if you allowed me to join your Divination classes. The art has always fascinated me and I wouldn’t want to miss out simply due to the late hour in which I arrived. I can catch up on the necessary make-up work if I’ve missed anything. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
-Merlin

Dear Professor Cthulu,

Dear Professor Lucifer,

I wish to join your apparition classes. I can get around with other methods of magical transport but I’m quite unsure as to how to go about apparating. I’m sure with a little effort I can get up to speed on the things I may have missed. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
-Merlin

Each of the owls sent to the professors is written in a careful, neat, legible, scrawl. The ink is blue but otherwise undistinctive. All written on very clean, professional looking parchment.

The owl to Ollivander is written much the same, albeit not so careful.

Dear Mr. Ollivander,

I’ve been told that you are the distributor of wands around here. I do not have one of my own currently, having not done magic with wands for centuries. However I believe one is necessary for everyday use in classes around here. I would be much obliged if you could assist me in finding a proper wand.

Sincerely,
-Merlin
