((I think that's all...oh, and Near, too, but the subject is as long as it can be And socking, too...of DOOM!(tm) ))
You'd think, in a place where no on has a fixed schedule, it'd be easy to arrange a meeting. But, no, of course not. There's clearing of heads, calming of tempers, making things, dealing with egos.
L didn't like that A was a target again. He also didn't like me training him, even less that I forced old man Yagami into it as well. Tough. A needs to be able to defend himself without one of us around, even if it's only enough for him to get to one of us.
Kusu hasn't said anything to me, but I haven't really sought him out. I'm pretty sure Near's seen him, but I doubt they talk much. I can guarantee A's seen him, but I don't ask him. I don't want to hear the worshiping.
That out-of-date samurai told me he'd been invited by Kurama. When I asked him why, he'd told me his interest had been aroused. I've tried to get more out of him than that, but he insisted on what he calls 'sparring.' Sparring, my ass. I've had training sessions easier than his sparring matches. That bastard is a slave driver. And, then, he has the audacity to smile at me and tell me he had fun and leave laughing. I am going to beat him, even if it's only once.
That Karasu bastard's dangerous, though whether he's more dangerous than B is debatable. Without magic, yes, probably, but with, it's hard to say. This guy is less fixated, though, which makes him dangerous to a larger number of people.
Not that I really care about them, but there's a challenge, both directly to me and to those I care about.
I arrive at the room early to set up. I know it's technically called the Room of Requirement, but I usually see it as a dojo. Today it has the structure of a dojo with a circle of cushions on the floor to one side. Why did I think I'd need to set up?
I've got too much energy. I shrug out of my jacket and start going through aikido kata to help clear my head.
( And the socking begins )
