Well, the test Near wanted is almost complete. I just need a sample set of answers. And, who better than Matt to answer for me. This will also test Near's ability to 'charm' the paper, but I'm not going to let Matt know that. I find one of those flying postal creatures this school seems to use and tie the note to its leg.

When B-also known as Beyond Birthday-felt the pain in his chest, he wasn't stupid, he knew what was happening. Stories about Kira punishing criminals had been spreading throughout the prison, and some have already succumbed. Beyond clearly was the next victim.

Imagine his surprise when he woke up in a castle. Imagine his further surprise when he found himself as he was before he tried to burn himself.

If there was a better time for him to use his evil laugh, he didn't know when it was.

It was midnight in Hufflepuff, which was a time that some people would consider perfect for a bit of interior decorating. Or, in other words, a perfect time to steal a chair from the Hufflepuff common room and attempt to move it up a flight of stairs into a bedroom. Claire was panting, and she was only halfway up the steep steps to her dorm room. The chair was not cooperating in the slightest. She angrily hit the back of the chair with her hand and shoved two of the legs up the next step, repeating the pattern of lift, slide, rest.

Closed RP: Mel and Brice get back: Lola acts as therapist. Again. She should get paid.

This staring thing Mel had going on was really starting to worry her boyfriend. They'd gotten back pretty recently. (And soon found out that a whole bunch of people had spontaneously popcorned. The hell? Here you go away to save a baby Buddha for a few days and people were getting turned into snack food left and right...) Mel had been scarily quiet for a long time, and it was so unlike her to not talk that Brice had to draw the conclusion that something was wrong. Had he done something? He hoped not.

He wasn't good at this. He needed a girl. A girl for his girlfriend to talk girly stuff with until she turned back to her normal, sparkly self. And there was really only one person he could contact in this situation.
