OOC: Well, my director shortened rehearsals and got rid of some of them, thus giving me more time on the computer. So, the hiatus is over. *party hat*

A sign goes up around the school:

Notice: Divination Class will be held tomorrow, April 9th, in the north tower.

If you are interested, please sign up here or in my office. No textbooks will be needed, but please bring your wands.

A while ago, know how I said the hiatus was going to last til Thursday? Well, if you haven't guessed, that estimate was WAY off.

Due to a combo of Real Life, school, and health issues, I'm going to be MIA for another week or two. Sorry. I had a hard time finding a second to sit down and just post this notice to the comm, if that gives you any idea of how busy it's been.

So now Tomo is officially lost somewhere in one of the secret passages in Hogwarts, and with her lack of direction sense will be there for a while. May is studying. And my parents are here so that's all!

Sorry about this, all. *runs off*

KOS-MOS was no longer asleep. She finds herself in a room in a dark castle. Detecting no immediate threats, she sees something.

Susan, having ingested some interesting mushrooms at the Little Green Apple, had taken leave of her grandfather and wandered off quite happily, eventually drifting back to Ravenclaw. The walls were shifting and melting in absolutely beautiful patterns, and she smiled at them in an unguarded way that was wholly unlike her usual self. Anybody who didn't know her would think she was perfectly lucid, except for the way she kept touching things--the walls, the tapestries, the paintings. The colors were so bright, and the textures so fascinating, and wouldn't it be a good idea to go play in the lab? She rather thought it would.

Everything in the common room seemed different, too--clearer, more real, despite the odd tracers that followed her eyes. Still drifting, she ambled into the laboratory, smiling quite serenely as she eyed the racks of potions ingredients and various man-made chemicals.

The only question was, what to make?

((Anybody who wants to do the magical equivalent of drunken deep-frying, feel free to come poke Susan))

Jack had finally decided it was time to get rid of the hypervodka that was in various places around his and JD's room, there were one or two bottles he couldn't find but that wasn't so bad and he guessed at some point he would definitly need that drink and it was good to keep it. There were enough anyway to have the picnic basket he found in the wardrobe full and be carrying the rest carefully. So many bottles it sounded like a set of windchimes in a storm. But he was giving them up. It was a good thing. Taking them to the Little Green Apple as a gift. He was annoyed he hadn't gone sooner. He found his way and wandered in. Just leave the bottles and a note and go... but it had been so long since he'd been anywhere remotely like this and the memories were just as intoxicating as the wonderful smells that were reminding him of them. He technially wasn't needed anywhere and if needed he could easily send a note to JD telling him where he was. Couldn't do any harm. Relive a few memories... he hesitated and still wasn't leaving like he planned.
