Agnes finished stacking the anti-hex potions she always made just after Christmas, you'd be surprised how many people got nasty if they didn't get the right present. So Agnes continued to put the Hospital Wing into order, making sure to position the tea and biscuits within reach if anybody wanted to try them. True, they were her favourite, but she didn't trust that Orient fellow enough to assume they weren't poisoned, and how had he known they were her favourite? That thought still haunted her as she subtley cast suspicious looks into the corners of the room. She had various antidotes around too, as well as a vast collection of Beozars, and pretty much enough to combat most post-Christmas hexes, curses, jinxes, poisonings, beatings, scrapes, illnesses and accidents. Christmas was a dangerous time of year...

Nearly a week had passed since Lily had broken up with Cox. Since Sirius had nearly slept with her. When he had left her room the morning after, he had asked her to owl him if she needed anything, and she hadn't. But it was weird not talking to Lily for all that time, and although Sirius still felt terribly awkward and guilty over what had happened between them, over the fact that she apparently didn't remember any of it, he figured he should double check that she really was doing better.

Owl to Lily, heavily warded, not charmed )

The holiday season had been rough on both of them -- Jon shuddered to even think the word 'hypervodka' now -- and so Jon had decreed it was high time for them to clear their heads and spend some time out of doors. Ghost seemed to think it was a fine idea, in his way -- at the very least he didn't protest.

Jon had gotten together a few supplies, propped out a lean-to, and the last two nights he and ghost had been sleeping under the stars. It was due to rain tonight, however, and so he was breaking camp. Ghost was actually getting a bit in the way, so Jon had started up a bit of a game of fetch to keep him clear of the site.

He crouched down and took the stick from Ghost -- wound with rabbit skin to help Ghost track it as he would -- and flung it hard to the other side of the courtyard. As the wolf took off, he crouched down to roll up his blanket.

A young woman in a jester's outfit suddenly bursts through the door and cartwheels across the floor, before daintily setting her application form down. She stands there grinning and fidgeting nervously, not really sure what else she should do.

The attached note is warded to give any but Sansa a nasty vinereal disease should they open it.

On the twelfth day of Christmas, my noseless dwarf husband gave to me )
