OOC announcement: secrets board going up this Friday

By popular request, another anonymous secrets board will appear this Friday -- that's September 15. More specifically, it will go up on the stroke of midnight (ok, or thereabouts) Eastern Time, when Friday the 15th becomes Saturday the 16th.

New players who weren't around for the first ones might want to have a look at the previous boards, to see what we're talking about:

The rules are these:

Secrets are made and posted ICly, as are comments unless noted with double brackets. It should, but won't, go without saying that the secrets board is no exception to the rules of the game.

Images that are just spam or are so big they'll stretch the page will be screened, as will anything likely to 'trigger' muns or has been created solely for the purpose of causing wank. Under 800x600 is best, please.

Please don't char-bash without consent from the player. A loose or vague image that doesn't name the character or have a picture of them is fine, but nothing that explicitly targets a character unless their mun okays it first. If you want your char free for any sort of image about them, feel free to comment with your list of chars to this post, and I'll add them to the list of free-speech chars. Please bear in mind that the characters will see the secrets, ICly, and probably try to guess who they're about. XD

So, comment to this post to let us know whether your chars are open to having unhappy images made about them, and if so, which chars. (Note that even if a character is on the fair-game list, unhappy/negative secrets made about them must still follow game rules, e.g., no nonconsensual fourth-wall breakage.)

In the library, Marius quietly stacked up a few books he thought might prove useful and laid out quills and parchment. He carefully placed an inkwell in the center and sat down to daydream until Nessarose arrived. He wasn't really a very good teacher and he wondered what he had been thinking by offering to give language lessons. He'd probably been too busy daydreaming to refuse or even think about what he was saying.

Well, too late to cancel now. He'd have to muddle through as best he could.

Just something I thought might interest you HHers XD

Sure, our characters get to interact with each other. But haven't you - the mun - ever wished you could ask one of them something that would never occur to your puppet? Or that would push plotlines in a way you wouldn't want them to go?

You could tie your characters to a chair, dose them with truth potion and let the other HH muns have at them. Just like Mel-mun and myself have done.

(Note - obviously, this is totally non-canon. Your chars won't remember anything said to them; any Character-Defining Breakthroughs are, alas, futile. So have fun with it!! 8D)
