Kuronue kept silent, rather interested. His eyes widened at the mention of how many there would be. Ten? Dear gods.
He had to close his eyes for a moment and take a deep breath, forcefully keep his legs locked while they spoke. When he opened them again Kanae was giving him one last look before leading them into the other room. He smiled at her and nodded in place of a bow.
He thought that, perhaps, Kanae was talking about his wings, but then again she could have been talking about his punishment. He was vehemently curious, and bit his lip. Kuronue followed them into the other room, fidgeting, looking for his geisha.
