I'm sure you've noticed that your gung-ho boy Jack is on the premises. You might want to let him know he just doesn't have the talent to be a sexual predator; I'd never be able to let him down easy.

He laughed delightedly, and gave the Doctor a look. "I've had a very long time to become familiar with all types of restraining devices. Sometimes you weren't even in my thoughts at the time. Of course, I've had more call for strictly utilitarian bondage... when it's recreational, you have so many more options."

The Doctor closed the distance between them, not speaking. This was foolish, risky and a completely terrible idea. He should be leaving, he should be turning around and walking out the door rather than listening to the Master discuss ways to tie him down.

He wasn't leaving though. The idea had an undeniable appeal and he had been far more prone to taking risks since the War.

"And of course, I would have to ask first, yes?"

He didn't try to suppress a shudder; it would have been humiliating to try and fail. And he had no interest in masking his arousal.

"Oh, you would most certainly have to ask," he said with smooth menace. "And you'd know the whole time that anything I did to you was because you willingly and intentionally handed yourself over to me. Every time you looked back in your memory, you'd have to admit to yourself that you were an accessory to your own torment. Could you bear having that much control over your suffering?"

He laughed darkly. "If I've not been the accessory, I've been the engineer of my own suffering. And what's one more time, really?"

"Please," he finally said.

"Oh, oh Doctor," he halfway-moaned, face aglow with surprised delight. "Don't think I'll make it easy for you. You'd never forgive me if I made it easy. How much should I hurt you, I wonder?"

"I'd expect no less. You've never made it easy whenever the two of us were concerned."

"I have rope in my room," he purred. "And I'm learning some fascinating spells. Do you want to be able to struggle? You're simply built to struggle this time around. To thrash and fight and know that I had you..." He wrapped his arms around the Doctor in a more conventional but undeniably possessive embrace, murmuring in his ear. "Safely contained, and all to myself. The sole focus of my attention."

How he wanted this.

The Doctor slid his arms around the Master, "Don't move," he murmured. He spoke a few words of an apparation spell. The world bent in on itself and with a pop of displaced air, they appeared in the corridor outside the Master's room.

"You're not the only one who's been brushing up on their magic."

"Showoff." He said it fondly, but his expression sharpened. "No more of that now. If you put up the wrong kind of fight I'll toss you back out in the hall. Right now I just need to know... do you want to be able to scream?"

He gave a small shudder, his arms still around the Master. "Yes. Oh yes."

He gave another delighted shiver. "I was hoping you'd say that."

The Master's room was still fastidiously bare; he had found himself a space for experimentation, but he didn't want the Doctor poking around in his projects. But there was a desk, and a bed, and a large, sturdy chest.

"I am going to blindfold you."

The Doctor barely gave the room a glance, his eyes were fixed upon the Master. He shrugged the leather coat from his shoulders and let it fall to the floor. He stood, motionless, every fiber shuddering in anticipation.

This was insanity, his mind screamed. But he desperately needed this to happen. It would hurt, and he would scream before it was all over. He was ready.

"Is that all you'd like to take off?" he asked mildly. "If you're expecting to be overpowered and forcibly stripped I'm afraid you've misunderstood my plan for the evening."

Break yourself down for me. Reveal yourself.

He snorted, pulling his sweater over his head and dropping it to the floor, revealing a body that was almost too skinny. Whipcord thin arms, the barest outline of ribs, it was a being exposed. This was slower and far more deliberate than the haze of desire from their previous encounter.

Sweater, boots and finally pants.

He stood there, almost shivering in anticipation.

"Fold everything neatly, Doctor," the Master chided, smirking faintly. Details like that were important. Instead of standing over him as if he thought the Doctor might do anything other than immediately comply, he reached into the chest at the foot of his bed for a heavy cloth blindfold and a heavy coil of rope.

"You always were rather fastidious," he murmured as he made quick work of folding his things. It also served to distract his mind from the desire that coiled in his stomach, and the little thrill of fear that sent his heatrs hammering.

He heldvery still as he approached with the rope and blindfold.

"Just because I'm going to beat you bloody doesn't mean I want your clothes all over the floor," he said brightly, tying the blindfold firmly in place. "Arms behind your back."

He tamped down on the voice that continued to insist this was a terrible and dangerous idea. His wrists crossed behind his back.

The Doctor's hyperactive senses seemed to kick into overdrive when the blindfold descended. The musty smell of the rope, his own perspiration, and the scent of the Master's skin. He was ready.

"Like so," he muttered briskly, bending the Doctor's arms into a ushiro takatekote pose behind his back. He'd learned a few things from Japan before blowing it up, after all.

"Traditionally, it's jute rope for pleasure and hemp for criminals," the Master said happily, tying the beginning knots. "Care to guess?"

He grunted at the repositioning and the additional pressure.

"I don't need to guess. It's hemp." The rope scratched his skin, but he gave no outward indication of his discomfort. Yet.

"You do have your own trail of notoriety, after all. I'm not the only one who leaves lives in ruins in his wake." He finished the simple and sturdy arm tie, and tightened the knots just a bit further. "Of course, I don't usually pal around with mine first."

"I never ask them to follow me to their death. I try to help them, I don't wreck their lives intentionally," he protested. A faint grimace creased his features as the knots tightened.

"You think that's an improvement?" Finished with the ropework, he seized a candlestick from his desk and swung it, clipping the Doctor hard on the small of his back. "The road to your hell is paved with good intentions, but it burns just as hot."

The force of the blow dropped him to his knees. He grunted with the impact, "Yes. It matters. It matters to me. I don't destroy just for the sake of it."

"Do you like it, being able to be someone's last, most desperate hope? Feeling them need you?" The sneer was plain in his voice, and he kicked the Doctor sharply in the ribs. "Is that how it started?"
