Kusuriyuri decided it had been long enough since he had opened his office. There were other factors influencing this decision, but a good part of it was he felt he was neglecting his duty.

Outside his office door and several other places around the school, signs appeared declaring the Divinations office open for any students who wished to talk, to consult, or who just happened to wander by.

Kusuriyuri knelt behind his table, shincha brewing as it was the season for it, waiting for any who would come in, wondering if a particular one would come in.

OOC: Yeah, this is a 'trap' for a particular character, but is also regular office hours. And, if you're particularly interested in a type of divination or anything else you'd like to see Kusu teach, feel free to mention it :D

"Ah, alright." Holy Roman Empire pulled off his boots and set them beside the doorway, then stepped further inside. He glanced around the office with interest. "I don't really know anything about Divinations, so I was curious when I saw the sign. What sort of magic does it involve?"

"Oh." His face fell. Holy Roman Empire had mixed feelings about the future; the things that Austria had said happened in this dreamworld were too much like the things Holy Roman Empire feared might come to pass in the real world. He wanted to be optimistic, but he wasn't confident enough to risk confirming that Austria's predictions might be right. "It sounds very interesting," he offered politely.

He noticed Kusuriyuri's look and nodded, coming to sit at the table. "Yes, thank you. Ah, I'm Holy Roman Empire, by the way. It's nice to meet you."

Truth sounded nice in theory, but in practice Holy Roman Empire was perfectly happy to remain in the deluded corner for as long as possible. "Do you mean something like philosophy, trying to figure out the real nature of things?"

He brightened at the mention of a more-familiar and welcome topic. "Yes, exactly. I'm a nation too. You've met Austria?"

Divination and Truth did sound potentially more useful, put into the context of exorcism. Not that Holy Roman Empire thought he would encounter many mononoke or other things of that nature, but this was Hogwarts, so it wouldn't hurt to be prepared. "I see. I think I would like to learn more about it, if I get the chance."

He grimaced at the mention of France's name. "I'm sorry that you had to meet France. Austria is a good friend, though. Which nation do you belong to?"

Holy Roman Empire nodded. "If you hold any classes, I'd like to attend. And I'm sure there are books about Divinations in the library that I can look at myself, right?"

Holy Roman Empire was vaguely familiar with Japan; he traded a lot of nice things from his house. The way Kusuriyuri phrased it was a bit odd, though. "Are you from different time than right now, then?" he guessed. "Where I'm from last, it's 1648."

"I'll look forward to it, then," Holy Roman Empire replied, and he gave a satisfied smile.

"Are you also not human?" he wondered, since like himself Kusuriyuri didn't much resemble his age. He'd put Kusuriyuri's colorful looks, which would have been very out of place in his own house, down to some quirk of Japan's place or Hogwarts. But now that he was paying closer attention, Holy Roman Empire couldn't recall anyone ever remarking that pointed ears were a trait of Japan's people.

It probably didn't matter much in this place, either, except that Holy Roman Empire had been curious. "Oh. That sort of thing doesn't seem to be too strange, around here. But back at my house, I'd only ever met other nations and humans."

Holy Roman Empire drained his cup of tea and set it back on the table, then stood up. "Thank you for everything, Professor Kusuriyuri. I'm sure we'll run into one another again. In the meantime, I'll study hard!" he vowed.
