((OOC: No problem, and your concern for River's well-being is very much-appreciated--- as I say, even if it weren't in her best interests I would have no problem keeping my character out of someone else's story/plans/etc.! Plus, I'm all for River not getting hexed to a pulp. ;) (Though if I were playing Mal, I'd want to talk more with you about this, because it's canon that he comes through literally lethal levels of torture and violence in good enough shape to do mayhem to his tormentors, and that might be something that would have to be dealt with.) But no, River won't confront Tom directly--- as I said, perfect timing for her to not-do that within-character, even if she's not at risk herself.))
