(( Prefect debates will go up in a separate post. Your character may reply to Kojiro declining the nomination if s/he was nominated against her/his will. Anyone can decline their own nomination ... except Elric. Mwahaha. He can try but his owls would be mysteriously intercepted by agents of the Hat.

An additional clarification: Yes, one player can have more than one character nominated. If two of the same player's characters win their respective races, then the player will have to choose which one they'd rather have as a prefect, and the other will be considered never to have won. This has happened before and worked out fine, so no worries! ))

(Lezard knew he couldn't possibly win an election based on popularity, or being liked, or ... freedom of choice being exercised by voters in any way. More, he knew if he ran and didn't win, it would prove how unpopular he was. Therefore, while he thought it had been kind of Snape to nominate him, he had no other recourse but to owl Kojiro.)

The owl that arrived stating he had been nominated as a possible prefect for Ravenclaw came as something of a shock to Raistlin. As he hardly considered himself a 'team player', he sent a reply to Kojiro.

I respectfully must decline the nomination, as my studies will simply not allow me sufficent time.
