The Habits of Lovers (Closed RP, Kusuriyuri/Kurama, probably NSFW)

"Now, if you've been mournful with me, your poor lover must have dealt with worse."

That was the thing about Yukimura... he always knew just the right thing to say to get Kurama thinking. He wasn't wrong, either. Kusuriyuri had seen Kurama break down completely, and had endured the melancholy with extreme patience. It hadn't yet occurred to Kurama that a very heartfelt thank-you was in order, but he realized the opportunity was knocking for what he hoped would be a rather spectacular appreciation.

When he'd snuck off to Japan with Mello and Matt, he'd bought yards of fabric; beautiful, high-quality stuff made just for kimono. He'd bought them with Kusuriyuri in mind, remembering the damage done to his "work clothes" after the first encounter with Karasu. While repairs had been made to the original outer kimono, Kurama had thought to surprise his lover with a second. He'd secretly put his considerable skills at sewing (being able to make and repair your own clothing was an invaluable tool, he always thought) to work, he'd worked out the second outer kimono in the style of the first, though embroidered with the patterns of wind and water and silvery falling leaves than the color cacophony of the first.

He folded the garment carefully and wrapped it in tissue paper, then setting off to find Kusuriyuri and present him with the gift.

Kusuriyuri considered a moment, his eyes on his hands on Kurama's chest once his kimono was off. "There is not," he said, his tone serious, not playful. "This one prefers his Itoshii to have an undamaged ego." He leaned forward, his head coming to rest on Kurama's chest.

"Tch, you're going to make me fall in love with you again, being so sweet as you are." He embraced Kusuriyuri tightly, kissing the top of his head. "That you endure this silly fox... you are amazing."

Kusuriyuri kept his hands where they were, needing to be embraced fully. He lifted his face so he could look up at Kurama. "This one loves Itoshii in his frailty, but Itoshii's strength is joy."

Kurama bent for a kiss, holding Kusuriyuri so tightly that the breath would likely be crushed out of a lesser being.

Kusuriyuri managed to get his arms up and around Kurama's neck, though the sleeves on his under kimono were caught around his shoulders. He pressed closer to Kurama, almost surprised at how much he wanted and needed that kiss.

It would have been easy - too easy - to keep going from there. After all, the floor wasn't so very far away, and he had a perfectly entrancing mate in his arms that he loved frolicking with dearly, there was a kimono that he'd put much effort in that he wanted to see said lover wearing. Kurama kept the kiss for probably longer than was sane for both of them, before pulling away just enough to speak.

"If we keep on like this, I won't be able to see you in your lovely kimono," he murmured, breaking his resolve just a little with another kiss to the tip of Kusuriyuri's nose.

Kusuriyuri whimpered slightly when Kurama drew back. He had almost forgotten about the kimono. "There is after," he said softly, his arms remaining around Kurama's neck, though he made no move to kiss Kurama again, he also made no move to separate any farther.

"Mm, yes, but there is also now," he purred, tugging at the belt of Kusuriyuri's under kimono in spite of himself.

"There is now," Kusuriyuri agreed, his fingers tracing Kurama's shoulders. He tilted his head slightly, letting his desire fill his eyes. "Now is very good," he whispered.

Kurama hummed his agreement, the last of his resolve going with the knot of the belt and falling into the little puddle of fabric. "Now is preferable," he murmured, tilting his head down and catching Kusuriyuri into another long, deep kiss.

Knowing he would get what he needed, Kusuriyuri let his hands wander into Kurama's hair, finding his ears and brushing them gently with his nails. He didn't linger long, though. He needed to feel Kurama's skin, to know that the joy Kurama expressed in his needlework even more intimately.

You're evil, Kurama sent, grinning into their kiss, the accusation hardly serious. He knew very well that Kusuriyuri was an expert at getting what he wanted, and damned if Kurama didn't love him all the more for it. He wriggled his shoulders so the fabric of his shirt fell loosely, bringing his hands up to part the fabric of the under kimono.

Evil? Kusuriyuri sent along their energy. Itoshii seems pleased, he added, his hands finding Kurama's skin irresistible. This one only wishes to add to that pleasure, he said, his hands beginning to warm with energy.

Well pleased, though the thought came dimly, distracted as he was by Kusuriyuri's hands. His thoughts dissolved to pleasure and the seeking of it for a while as he explored the skin of Kusuriyuri's back, tracing gentle strokes down his lover's spine.

Kusuriyuri smiled softly into their kiss, well pleased himself with his effect over Kurama. He tugged slightly, wanting to continue kissing even as they moved to kneel on the floor.

Kurama followed without any hesitation, going to the floor with Kusuriyuri wrapped up in his arms. The thought of lovemaking with no unhappy preamble, being completely at ease from start to finish, was wonderful. Coupled with the delight Kusuriyuri showed in his gift, he was completely unable to resist his lover's charms.

Kusuriyuri held Kurama as close as he was held. When the reached the floor, he slipped his legs between Kurama's, a subtle request. His fingers remained tangled in Kurama's hair, though, seeking out his ears again, the kiss more important than air ever had been to him.

He couldn't breathe, but didn't necessarily want to. even when it got too hard to stay away, he only broke for the quickest of breaths, parting his legs as Kusuriyuri asked. The kimono was almost gone, but his jeans and Kusuriyuri's pants were still an issue, making him wonder why their clothes couldn't be gone just by him wanting it. He let that thought touch Kusuriyuri, more for a laugh than anything.

Kusuriyuri worked his hands out of Kurama's hair, sliding them down his back. Because there would be less entertainment if they just were gone, he teased, a ripple of laughter in his mental tone.

That was a good point, Kurama thought, and added fuel to a fire that was already well burning. He straddled Kusuriyuri's hips, bringing his hands down level with his knees. He broke the kiss finally, instead tilting his head back and offering his neck in submissive mischief, just barely close enough to bite.

Kusuriyuri almost whimpered when Kurama broke their kiss. The display, though, drew a groan from his lips. He brought the fingers of one hand up to brush along Kurama's neck, bushing his hair back before he lifted his head to lick the exposed flesh. He almost asked if Kurama was sure, but he believed the kitsune would not have offered if he wasn't. He tilted his head slightly and bit, not quite hard enough to break the skin.

Kurama moaned softly, licking his lips as Kusuriyuri's teeth pressed against his skin. He liked... no, understatement. With the right partner, he loved being bitten. And, considering Kusuriyuri was the partner, it stood to follow that a little nibble would be a sweet gift. It hadn't occurred to him that even the softest bite would be nearly enough to make him come, even with some self-control. He shifted, giving Kusuriyuri easier (all) access, pressing closer and making no secret of his enjoyment.

The reaction was more than Kusuriyuri anticipated. He could feel the warmth that filled Kurama's body, the need, the vibrations of Kurama's voice. He slid his legs up a little, sliding them along the inside of Kurama's thigh as he continued nibbling, biting a little harder in places that he knew to be more sensitive, sometimes hard enough to leave a mark, mostly hard enough just to make an impression, never quite breaking Kurama's skin.

A moan turned into a needy, indulgent whimper. Once Kusuriyuri had gotten over his initial reluctance, he became an expert, finding every single trigger and biting just right. Even being wrapped around the medicine seller's little finger on a normal basis was nothing compared to this... Kurama was putty in his hands.

Kusuriyuri considered his options. He could turn them both over and continue working down Kurama's body or he could encourage Kurama to move, removing their clothing so that they could continue. He allowed both options to float along the lines of energy between them, not really quite sure Kurama would be able to form an answer as he continued nibbling on the kitsune's neck.
