When closets rebell ((Open RP, Great Hall))

There were things about this school that were beyond Kusuriyuri's dreams. That he'd find ones so precious to him as Kurama and his students was still surprising to him, still enough to bring a secret smile to his lips.

There were things about this school that were beyond baffling. The tendency for friends, enemies, and otherwise to show up and vanish with little notice, for one.

The fact that his closet refused to give him anything but a short black dress this morning was another. No matter where he looked in their apartment, he could not find his kimono or even any of Kurama's clothes to charm to fit him. It was the only clothing, aside from a black headscarf, he could find.

Believing his closet to be as perverse as the rest of this school, he also figured he wouldn't find his normal clothing until he'd been properly humiliated by wearing what his closet offered.

Boukensha looked at him in askance, but insisted on riding on his shoulder as he went to the Great Hall on his way to his office to study. He hoped that there would be few about as he left, but was sure that there was some perversion in the school that would cause his hope to be rendered into naught.

"Aah, well. Look at me. I'm so tall, the last time someone tried to get me into a kimono was a disaster." The memory was awful. An on-the-fly suggestion from Yuusuke that the group go to a summer festival in kimono.

Even as a human he was almost the tallest of his friends, and it was impossible to find anything that fit - unlike the clothes he wore for fighting, which were cut-down leftovers from things he'dworn as a demon. In the end, Botan had offered one of her kimono, and he'd ended up locking himself in his room until Kuwabara found an old yukata for him.

"I know I can charm things to fit now, but I keep remembering how stupid I'd usually end up looking and balk at the idea. Not to mention the stuff for tall guys is usually covered in 'GRR, LOOK AT ME, I'M A MAN' things that I really don't like, or have weird colors."

Kusuriyuri squeezed Kurama's hand gently. "Shirogitsune looked well in the yukata from before. The kimono is suitably colored, this one. If it is too unpleasant, it need not be done," he murmured softly.

"No, I said I would," Kurama smiled. "I don't like going back on my word. Besides, if it is just you seeing me, I'll be all right."

Though it was a small thing, Kusuriyuri was pleased that Kurama wanted to keep his word in it, even when allowed an out without consequence. He squeezed Kurama's fingers and smiled.

Kurama returned the pressure and smiled back. They were almost at their rooms now. He paused to put Boukensha down, flipping the kitten over to pat his belly. "Bel is in the greenhouses, I bet she misses you," he told Boukensha, who gnawed his fingers for a moment, got up to rub against Kurama and Kusuriyuri's legs, and trundled off towards the greenhouses.

"With the children taken care of," Kurama chuckled, standing again, "let's go play dress-up."

It amused Kusuriyuri that Boukensha was so easily placated and would leave when they were together, but if he were to leave by himself, the kitten would not give up until he were taken as well. "Baka na neko," he murmured fondly. He turned to Kurama, a mischievous twinkle in his eyes as he asked solemnly, "So, then, shall I dress you first?" he asked. "Or the other way?"

"That is a tough decision," Kurama sighed (the expression belied by an equally mischievous glint in his eyes), opening the door to their room. "Now, if you dress me first, we get the added bonus of me getting to see you in that dress for longer, and you getting to see me in a kimono for as long as it takes to undress and redress you. Which, in my estimation, is a rather nice tradeoff. Unless you really want out of those ribbons and frills."

"And if Itoshii were to have his way and undress this one, neither of us should be dressed for some time," Kusuriyuri said, stepping into the room and pulling Kurama after him. "It is, indeed, a difficult choice."

"Mm-hm. Careful considerations must be made." he grinned. He pulled the door closed after them, and began to pace the room contemplatively, idly toying with the buttons on his shirt as he did so.

Kusuriyuri watched, not bothering to mask his amusement, as he placed the kimono on the back of the chair in their room. He turned and watched Kurama a moment, his hands clasped lightly before him.

"Hmmm," he was getting into the part now, putting on a very serious face. "We could... no, that wouldn't work. Or maybe.... naaah, that's no fun at all. Ah," he paused, looking down at his shirt. He then looked plaintively at Kusuriyuri, hamming it up for all he was worth. "My button's stuck."

"Is that so?" Kusuriyuri asked, crossing the room and reaching up to unfasten it. "It did not appear stuck," he replied, not moving away. He reached over for Kurama's hands and examined them. "Nothing appears wrong," he murmured, his voice solemn, perhaps broken by a slight ripple of laughter.

"Oh, it must have been my imagination, then. Even so, would you mind helping me with the rest?" He smiled. "I'd hate for one to get stuck for real."

Kusuriyuri flicked an eyebrow at Kurama and the proceeded to unfasten each button methodically, his face schooled into a clinical mask. When the last was done, he looked up, his eyes still glittering with mischief, and asked, "Does Itoshii require further assistance?"

"Oh, no, I wouldn't want to be a burden." His smile moved a few degrees closer to lecherous. "However, I won't say no to assistance if you insist."

Kusuriyuri smiled slightly. "Is that so?" he murmured. Very careful to avoid touching Kurama's skin, he removed the shirt and folded it, setting it on the seat of the chair.

"I do hate to put upon you so," Kurama sighed. "You are very kind to put up with me."

Kusuriyuri smiled benignly and removed Kurama's pants just as carefully as he had his shirt, not touching the kitsune's skin. "There are benefits, at times," he said as he folded the pants and then picked up the kimono Kurama had chosen.

Kurama cast the size charm. Kusuriyuri's care to not touch wasn't going unnoticed. "I will try and be as beneficial as possible," he said solemnly. "I do hate to disappoint."

Kusuriyuri moved behind Kurama, standing slighly on his toes to settle the kimono properly on Kurama's shoulders before waking around and tapping Kurama's arms so he'd raise them. "I will be sure to warn you should it be a danger," he replied solemnly, adjusting the kimono and tying it snuggly.

"I will trust you with that, then," Kurama said, smiling as he followed Kusuriyuri's directions. "It's comfortable," he said of the kimono, after a moment."

Kusuriyuri nodded, looking at Kurama critically before smiling slightly. "And it is suitable for my love." He blushed slightly at the endearment. "And, now, I shall dress," he said, turning so his back was to Kurama.

"Wai- er, would you like some help, maybe?" Of course, that might be a bad idea... he would probably pounce. "Unless, you rather I wait."

Kusuriyuri looked over his shoulder after letting his hair down. "Saa," he said simply, hiding a asmirk at Kurama's obvious ideas of 'help.'

Oh, Kusu, you tease. Kurama smiled and Lifted Kusuriyuri's hair away from his shoulders, unzipping the back of the dress slowly. Such a pretty frame that made, the expanding 'v' of his back against the black fabric. Kurama entertained the idea of pouncing Kusuriyuri now, but put that idea off on the side until later. He did promise to let Kusuriyuri see him in kimono as long as desired, after all.
