B is free! B won't be mean anymore! And mean B is a cat!

B was so excited by this newfound freedom, thanks to Lezard. But B knew he had to prove that he was B and not the mean B. That meant going to someone besides A or Mello.

And well, L is L. L would know it was B.

With scratches all over his arms and a struggling Beyond in his hands, B ran all the way to Ravenclaw. He looked down the corridor, guessing which one was L's, and just pretty much ran into the door, since he didn't want to try to knock, for fear of dropping Beyond.

"I'm coming."

L's leg still makes everything a little slower, so it's a couple of seconds before he arrives at the door, wand at the ready.

"B?"

B was panting slightly and holding on tight to Beyond who moved from scratching B to biting him.

"B...is free."

"Other-B. What happened?"

Why is he holding a cat?

"Come in, so you can put that creature down."

He scooted in, but he wouldn't let go of Beyond. Who knows what might happen."

"B woke up in a spooky room, and Lezard, he said he split B from mean B, and mean B was a cat! And B thanked Lezard because he won't become mean anymore, and B came here to prove that B was B, because L would know."

"How absolutely fascinating. Come in, sit." He shuts the door, and moves gingerly towards the edge of the bed. "Please ignore all the clutter."

Matt's moving most of his stuff into his office, but with L unable to tidy compulsively it's still taking hold.

Beyond noticed that B was talking to L now, and tried to lunge for L, but B's grip held tight so far.

"No, mean B! No scratching L!" B sat as far away from L as possible, the more steps Beyond would have to take to get to L.

"Cat, if you don't behave I'll petrify you and be done with it. Understood?"

L points his wand threateningly.

"Now. Tell me how this happened?"

"Lezard said it was magic, that he took mean B's personality and put it in the cat. But....why mean B wanted to do that B doesn't know..." B's eyes widened "unless B was supposed to be in the cat body." The surprise of this was enough to loosen his grip on Beyond, who lunged for L.
