[Application] Beyond Birthday, Death Note: Another Note

When B-also known as Beyond Birthday-felt the pain in his chest, he wasn't stupid, he knew what was happening. Stories about Kira punishing criminals had been spreading throughout the prison, and some have already succumbed. Beyond clearly was the next victim.

Imagine his surprise when he woke up in a castle. Imagine his further surprise when he found himself as he was before he tried to burn himself.

If there was a better time for him to use his evil laugh, he didn't know when it was.

1. What is your favorite cheese? Why is it your favorite?

"I would say cream cheese, for it goes into cheesecake."

2. Who would you kill first, Barney or Carrottop?

Oh, now Beyond was liking this application.

"That IS a good question. Killing Barney would fit me, but since Barney is just a man in a costume, I wouldn't actually be killing Barney, per se. On the other hand, killing Carrottop would actually do a lot of people good. But in the end, I don't think it matters who I kill, as long as I hide my role in it well."

3. What time is it where you are?

"I do not know."

What more did Beyond have to say?

4. If you were Albus Dumbledore returned from the dead, which member of the Order of the Phoenix would you sexually harass? How would you harass them? If you are Albus Dumbledore, please answer as if you were Sirius Black.

"Now, why would I want to be someone else returned from the dead when I've just returned from death myself? And why would I bother harassing someone?"

5. If you are pushing to be in:

A. Slytherin - please state the clever, witty name of the bar in which you bartend, in the dark.

Here Beyond grinned.

"Lawliet. The one that know what I'm talking about knows why I named it that."

B. Gryffindor – Debate whether Harry should ultimately end up married to Fred or George. Use examples from a variety of world mythologies to bolster your argument.

"What would I care? All three of them aren't immortal, they'll die in time anyway."

C. Ravenclaw – You guys are supposed to be smart. Explain why my desk is inundated with paperwork at all times, even though I’m constantly disposing of it.

"You're supposed to be a copy of the greatest detective in the world. Too bad you die soon after anyway."

D. Hufflepuff – Prove you are not useless.

Most people would try to hide their crimes. Beyond didn't see the point, he got caught and he's dead anyway.

"You remember the L.A.B.B. case? I did that. It would have been the perfect crime, too, if that Misora hadn't been smarter than I took her for."

6. Offer a bribe to the members of this community so that they will not squib you. Items used in bribery do not necessarily have to belong to the person offering the bribe. Beyond blinked, and rifled through his pockets. He exclaimed in delight as he found a jar of strawberry jam.

"I'm willing to share some of my jam."

Beyond smiled. Whatever happened between him and L only they knew, but it was fun to goad Near on.

"If you say so. Then again, the idol every kid in Wammy's house wanted to be....I'm sure even the stoic sucessor had a case of hero worship that only a few saw. Even if said worship was for a man they never met."
