Your accomplishments both before and during your time at Hogwarts strike the Board as especially notable preparation for a potions master.

Therefore, Valentine Wolfe, you are hereby appointed Professor of Potions of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, for the standard term of one year, to be continued upon application and approval. Your pay is set at the standard rate of *G*5,000 per annum, with room, board and sufficient robes and linens, and a house elf designated to attend to your needs. You may continue to live in Ravenclaw, if you wish. However, you may wish to make use of separate, more private chambers. Your office is located in the Dungeons, as is your classroom. We enclose the keys to your quarters, classroom, office, staffroom and staff bath.

Your predecessor, Doctor Maturin, had secured the services of a teaching assistant, one Doctor Mohinder Suresh.
