((Backdated to November 1. I know I said no more Halloween posts, I forgot about this, shut up. XD ))

Several owls go out anonymously to a group of people, none of them signed, and charmed so the handwriting is not recognizable to the reader. There's nothing creative about the warding, really, the writer just wasn't in the mood.

The owl is carrying a certain jade figurine, as well as a small booklet from a magazine with ironing tips, and a short note:

Sorry about last night. I wasn't myself.

-May

P.S. Ironing dark pants inside out keeps them from getting that weird sheen they develop when you iron them sometimes.

(The handwriting on this note is not charmed, because there really is no point.)

The suitcase the owl brings back has obviously not been opened. Also included is a neatly printed list of books on warding that the sender found particularly helpful in learning to ward places and items - all of which can be found in the library.

When Francis returns to his ransacked room, he will find that someone has tried to straighten up everything that could be cleaned or repaired or put away. Also, a silver pen case that was previously missing is sitting on his window sill.

There is no note.

There is no note, but the owl is bearing the simplest book on strictly defensive spells the sender could find. Just for future reference. There may even be a chance in hell Tomo may flip through it.

Having remembered exactly where she'd seen the guy before (the Mountie uniform had helped too), May sent him a brief, anonymous owl.

Sorry about the fight last night. Hope you found your wand.

The note is unsigned and a small package of Honeyduke's chocolates is tied to it. Just because.

The last owl is sent out much later, after a great deal of deliberation on the writer's part.

Hey -

Do you remember anything else about last night? I've put together a few pieces, but it still gets really hazy during the latter half of the night. Sounds like somebody deliberately put a spell on the radio show to make people go nuts, and I'm trying to piece together everything that happened.

The owl should be able to find her by the alias, and just to be safe she'll be in costume in the woods for an hour or two, using the trees as gymnastic equipment to clear her head.
