Bridge managed to slip away from Mark, furtively pulling a bit of red and blue cardboard from his uniform pocket. He had been intending to pass out valentines just for fun, but apparently that opportunity was over (maybe! No one would expecting valentines the week AFTER Valentines Day, would they?) And he hadn't wanted to face the puppy-eyes Mark would have surely turned on him for showering affection on the rest of the school. But there was one that he HAD to make sure got to its proper recipient before the end of the evening.
So he laid a small card on Sky's bed. It read "I'm blue without you."

Date: 2006-02-15 06:52 pm (UTC)Tentatively, and trying not to wake his friend, Sky slipped inside and pulled on a clean pair of pajama pants, setting his dirty laundry aside to be cleaned and replaced for him. He settled himself down onto his bed with a groan, leaned back, and. . . found the piece of cardboard.
Sky read it, and at once wanted to smile and crawl under his bed. What had he done?!
"Oh, hell."
