Fortunately, as Sam and Jon left the Great Hall for their night of meaningless lust*, they happened to pass by the Room of Requirement, that wonderful piece of deus ex machina.
"Look, my portly lover!," Jon exclaimed, "A secluded chamber. I cannot wait the whole long walk to our quarters- lest I take you in the middle of the hall**, so let us stop here."
*Which they most certainly would regret in the morning, or whenever the spells wore off. Magic brownies were bitch like that.
