Ofdensen declares this day a fiasco. End of story. He stormed over to the Slytherin bar as quickly as possibly.

Reinette approaches the new arrival with a forced confidence she neither feels nor really cares if anyone sees, but years of training die hard. She’s been nursing the same glass of claret for over an hour and the solitude was starting to get old; drinking alone had never been her style. “Mind some company?”

Ofdensen, already halfway through said glass, looked at the newcomer. "If you like," he waved toward an empty seat.

Reinette takes a seat next to the obviously troubled man and smoothes her voluminous skirts about her. In an attempt to make small talk she says, “Did your Friend like the jeweled choker I had delivered?”

"I beg your pardon?"

Seriously, he and I have no clue what she was talking about.

“Oh I beg your pardon,” Reinette says, most embarrassed, I seem to have mixed you up with someone else. I’ve met so many people in such a short time.” Reinette backpedals in an attempt to save face. “I remember our actual conversation at my sorting much better now. You do seem troubled though, Do you want to talk about it?”

Reinette swirls the wine around in her glass and nods in understanding. “I’ve had days like that myself,” She raises her glass in salute, “here’s to bad days and liquid amnesia,” She then tosses her remaining alcohol back in one surprisingly unladylike gulp. “I sincerely hope that whatever your troubles may be that they lessen to a degree. As for me, I’ve had enough of this sad place. I’m off to improve my disposition.”
