Roxas had decided, shortly after entering, that the library was Too Big. The second left turn he'd taken had gotten him lost, and the third right one had only made it worse. He had resigned himself to his fate as Roxas, lost-in-the-library-man, and decided his only way to get out would be to stand where he was and wait for someone to find him.
Or yell. But, it was a library. He didn't think anyone would appreciate him yelling in a place where silence was demanded.
His situation was abruptly sorted out when he collided with someone and sent books flying.
Great. Now he was Roxas, stereotypical-book-knocker-overer.
"I'm sorry," he said, smiling sheepishly, bending to pick up the books.

Date: 2007-06-08 06:10 am (UTC)Al furrowed his brow and looked at the stack of books before him. "Maybe I should leave them here. I really don't need any of them, and I bet my brother even has copies of a few."
He set the books back on the shelf and then grabbed Roxas' hand. "Here, follow me!"

Date: 2007-06-08 06:19 am (UTC)Al was sure he was going the right way, though, this section did look a tad unfamiliar... He continued on his path.

Date: 2007-06-08 06:36 am (UTC)"Well, shoot." He sat down with a bump against the one of the book shelves and looked up at Roxas through hazel eyes.
"Do you remember which way you came in?"

Date: 2007-06-08 06:42 am (UTC)"Nope," he said. "I don't think I could find my way out if my life depended on it now. What do you think we should do?"

Date: 2007-06-08 06:46 am (UTC)He got to his feet and smiled brightly at Roxas. "Alright?"

Date: 2007-06-11 01:43 am (UTC)"So, um, how old is your brother?" Roxas asked, feeling more than a little stupid. He was usually okay at making conversation. Maybe he was getting sick or something.

Date: 2007-06-11 09:29 pm (UTC)It took a moment but something clicked. "...Him?" Apparently Al had nothing to worry about when it came to Roxas making assumptions about him.
But if he... And he'd been on top of Al... Al blushed even harder.

Date: 2007-06-11 09:44 pm (UTC)"Y-yeah. We were, um, really good friends, before." Roxas stammered, as if that were some sort of explaination. Then he realized how uncomfortable Al seemed.
"Look, um, I don't.... I mean, I'm not gonna..." He didn't even know what he was trying to say. "You're, um, safe. I won't do anything."

Date: 2007-06-11 09:47 pm (UTC)Al admonished himself silently. You idiot! You just said you wouldn't mind if he did things to you in the middle of the library!

Date: 2007-06-11 09:54 pm (UTC)"I-I think I know what you mean," He managed. And finally, here was that stupid turn. "I think we're almost there." He looked at Al out of the corner of his eye.
"I hope things aren't weird between us now. You're nice, and I don't have many friends here."
