((Open to all STFU-istas))
Molly, having eaten some of the Easter Bunny's chocolate and made full use of her newly-regained childhood, was hunting for something familiar. She had only been to the STFU suite once, but she felt like hunting Nny down now--hey, he'd actually be taller than her now! And he had all kinds of swords and knives and sharp pointy things that somehow seemed even cooler now that she was small again.
She giggled, running through the hallways and dodging anything and anyone who might be in her way. She didn't know just what had caused this change, and she didn't know how long it would last, but God she hoped it might be forever.
Molly knocked on the door--even as an eight-year-old, she knew better than to idly stick her head through a door anywhere near Nny's dwelling--and stood on her bare tiptoes, balancing like the world's smallest, grubbiest gymnast.

Date: 2007-04-18 03:32 am (UTC)Beautiful was what she was going for, but she had no real words to articulate just what was going on in her momentarily clear head. "I like it," she said at last. "A lot. C'n I come in?" Once again, she knew better than to just hop into an area that might, for all she knew, be crisscrossed with booby-traps.

Strange, how... how new she looked. More than young, she looked new.
"Come in, yeah. Sure."

Date: 2007-04-18 03:51 am (UTC)Somehow moving through the noisy surge of fur, Molly clambered onto a fat cushion-chair, her bare feet sticking off the edge as the devils fought to sit on her lap. They jumped so much that they knocked her back onto the floor, and with a shrieking laugh she grabbed two and started wrestling with them. "Hey, I'm not a chair! You can only fit one at a time, you know."

Date: 2007-04-18 04:02 am (UTC)Finally she admitted defeat, sitting down in a giant pile of bacon-scarfing devils, giggling as they climbed up over her shoulders. She was so oddly, wonderfully, almost ubelievably happy, and she couldn't even begin to know why.

Date: 2007-04-18 04:42 am (UTC)Passing the rest of the bacon to the devils, she disentangled herself from the heap, tripped over her too-long pants, and hugged him. "I'm sorry," she said, both that it had happened and that she had asked.

Date: 2007-04-18 10:05 pm (UTC)She's just a kid right now.
"Bacon, yeah." Nny laughed a little weakly. "Are you a Devinesian devil now?"

Date: 2007-04-18 10:16 pm (UTC)It didn't occur to her that, for her at least, that was going to be a bad thing.

Date: 2007-04-18 10:30 pm (UTC)She didn't know how long she was out, but it couldn't have been more than ten minutes or so. Waking thought came back slowly, as she swam up through the haze of unnatural sleep. The first thing she registered was that the cushion was suddenly too small, then that her formerly-massive clothes actually fit again, and third that her face was full of wild grey-blonde hair.
Most people, when they first wake up, have a few moments of fuzzy confusion, wherein it can be difficult to tell dream from reality. Molly didn't have that--her adult senses were so different than those she'd had as a child that the change was instantly noticable, and she couldn't pretend even for a second she was still asleep.
Oh no. No, no, no... The half-formed ache she'd kept at bay while small smashed through now, hitting her like a barbed brick, and with it--
"Goddamn chocolates. Don't ever eat one of those again, man."
Molly shut her eyes again, pressing her hands over her ears though she knew damn well it would do no good. Fuck, no, this isn't fair...you were gone, you little bastard, you were actually gone...

Date: 2007-04-18 10:40 pm (UTC)"What, you thought it would last? You thought I'd go away for good? Dammit, Molly, I'm hurt. What about ME?"
Oh, this wasn't fair... To be given that, and have it taken away...it was worse than never having it at all.
Molly didn't cry often. Mostly, when the Narrator showed up, she just got pissed, and would bitch him out (or scream at him) until he eventually gave up in disgust. She only cried when she was really, really messed up, but now...
"Oh God, it's gone. It's gone, it's not fair...."

Date: 2007-04-18 11:20 pm (UTC)She shook her head, hard, as though by doing so she could dislodge the Narrator like a mosquitoe.
