((Backdated to Christmas -- I totally suck, I'm sorry!!))
With the letter is a package containing a somewhat primitive-looking sextant fashioned from two enormous vertebrae.
Agent Cooper,
A very merry Christmas to you, and with it a gift from the Northwest Territories. This is a beluga whalebone sextant: if you're tracking a suspect, or simply lost in the wilderness, you can use it to triangulate your position. I hope it comes in handy.
Sincerely,
Constable Benton Fraser, RCMP
With the letter is a package containing a small carved figure of a wolf, made out of some kind of dark wood, clearly a companion piece to Sirius's birthday present. The wolf is sleeping, curled up peacefully.
Sirius,
I hope you're having a most excellent Christmas. This is just a little something I put together. It's meant to go with the one I gave you before. Consider it a token of my appreciation for your goodwill and friendship this past month. I hope the season finds you well, and that you have yourself a very

With the letter is a package containing several pairs of knitting needles, apparently handmade from some kind of smooth, light material, in varying shades of white, ivory and gray.
Dear Molly,
Thank you so very kindly for the gifts this morning. I hardly know what to say, truly; your generosity is most deeply appreciated. I'm wearing the sweater as I write, and Diefenbaker (my wolf -- have you met him?) already loves the rain stick to the point where I think my partner Ray may try to take it from him. I'm not sure how long it will be before they begin to fight over the candy.
I'm afraid I've hardly got anything by comparison, but I do hope you like this small token of my esteem and appreciation. They're made of whalebone and should last you quite some time.
Merry Christmas,
Constable Benton Fraser, RCMP
With the letter is a package containing two very old but well-cared for books: the first a compiliation of Inuit history, folklore, and myths about the wolf; the second, a book on the Inuit relationship with the wolf.
Dr. Grant,
I hope this owl finds you well, and that you are enjoying the season. I want to thank you kindly again for the help you provided me with when I first arrived here; your assistance was most welcome. Please accept these, with my gratitude and highest esteem.
Merry Christmas,
Constable Benton Fraser, RCMP
With the letter is a package containing a beaded bracelet in vibrant shades of green and blue.
Dear Miss Spaulding,
I think perhaps we I hope you I don't mean to
