Each gift is sent via owl, because his duck may very well keel over from it all, and each gift is wrapped in bright blue wrapping paper and silver bow.
A single red rose in a vase of water and a beanbag.
Rose,
Thought you might like something to brighten up your room a bit. I think I'm probably a bit rubbish at this whole gift thing, but there you go. Oh, and the rose will last for ages as long as you keep it in fresh water every couple days. Longer than usual roses, it's charmed to do that. So really I think it should last years at the earliest. Also, the vase won't breakbelieve me, I dropped it once or twice. Happy Christmas!
-The Doctor
A couple of CDs of Glenn Miller.
Jack,
What do you get the guy that has almost everything? That's you and me both. Hypervodka's fine. I'm not really sure what you could've gotten me. Same here, not sure what I could get you. Thought I'd hearken back to some old times a bit. But I bet JD's spoiled you rotten, hasn't he? Happy Christmas!
-The Doctor
Assorted tea!
JD,
I really had no idea what to get you, probably because we don't ever really talk much. I'm sure Jack's given you everything you ever could need anyway, but, here's some tea. You know, just something different from all that coffee. Give it a try, I'm sure you'll find something you'll like. If not, oh well, coffee's not bad. Happy Christmas!
-The Doctor
A shirt and stress relief ball enchanted to say highly self-deprecating things.
Coxy-boy,
Just give this a squeeze next time you feel like having a go at someone.
Two books--Most Modern Muggle Malaise and Medicines volumes A-H and I-Z. Also, a drink enchanted not to spill on the way to her.
Lily,
A little more muggle stuff for all that nursing you do. Love the bartending set, it was loads of fun to make you this. I call it a Sonic Screwdriver. Yes, like my fancy little gadget. Your Coxy-boy might not like fruity things, but a little bit of that's good for everyone, I think. Maybe we could have tea sometimewhen our muns are not lazy or busy. We never did especially after that incident that we will never speak of again, Lils. I think it'd be smashing. Happy Christmas!
-The Doctor
A wedding gift basket.
Sarah Jane and Harry,
Figured I'd just sent you both one thing. Is it Sarah Jane Sullivan yet? Anyway, it's supposed to be for the wedding, but it can always be a Christmas or New Years thing, too. Look, I know we never ended on the right foot last time we talked (well, me and Sarah Jane, not so much you, Harry), but you know I care. Can't not, that's how I am. Happy Christmas!

Date: 2006-12-27 08:22 pm (UTC)Ah the classics, always appreciated. Thanks! And I may have spoilt him, a little. I mean a trip to Lapland, a brand new scooter and a couple of other things. Seasonal drink at some point? Or you know just a drink.

Yes, we are very much overdue for a cuppa. Just owl me when you get a moment and I'd love a chat and a bit of tea.
Merry Christmas!

Date: 2006-12-31 05:47 am (UTC)Thank you! It's lovely! The flower, I mean, gorgeous. I promise I'll make sure the water gets changed, I want it to last. And the beanbag is perfect for lounging around
though not as cuddly as you, unfortunately.I KNEW it wasn't just the regeneration that made you like Christmas.Love, Rose
