ooc: a brief mod announcement

Hello, all ♥

First, we're very sorry the Hat's reward for the successful defeat of the Canadian Weasley Bear has not yet been posted! Between RL!fail and LJ!DDOS!fail, it's been more-than-usually difficult to pull anything together and get it posted.

It will be posted tonight barring acts of DDOS $deity. We like to think it will have been somewhat worth the wait. The Hat is beyond thrilled that its nemesis has been turned into a duck and thrown to France.

Second: We've gotten a couple of requests from folks to join the comm that we haven't been able to approve only because they haven't got the canon name and character name in their user profile. Since we can't really determine the identity (and therefore fictionality, eligibility, etc) from icons, we established that rule. It's usually not a problem: Normally, we just PM the person and ask them to add that info, then we're good. If PMs are disabled for their account (maybe LJ has changed its default options?) we're sort of stuck, though. So if this sounds like you, we promise we're not ignoring you. Please add that info and/or enable PMs so we can chat and find out what you're planning to app. *g*

(We once missed out on a Johnny from "The Room" that way. None of us had seen the movie yet, and had no clue who ... the Tommy Wiseau ... icons were. To think of the HH!joy that could have been! You're tearing me apart, Hagrid!)

Having gotten nowhere with his visions, Turlough had decided to consult a library. He supposed it would be related to Divination, but he didn't want to bother Kusuriyuri yet, and he definitely didn't want to bother the Doctor if it turned out to be the-well, his-future.

Alas, he would never make it to the library, for there was someone with...plans for him.

Owls to Cas and Bobby

His search for Sam had turned up nothing so he decided to send a couple owls to Cas and Bobby, and go grab the bull by the horns so to speak.

Note to Cas and Bobby: Sam's missing, not sure where the hell the kid went. I'm going to confront Crowley. One of you find that green skinned bastard and make him tell you what he said to Sam. Some one else go look for him.

He's in trouble....
