So. The Doctor was here.
Fuck. Turlough's. Life.
Turlough could count the number of people he considered friends on his hands. And of all those people, only one person did he have anything resembling attraction for-real attraction, not that power thing with Lezard.
Turlough never asked the Doctor how many lives he had passed through between him and Amy, and quite honestly he didn't want to know. And granted, he looks so much different now than when he did when Turlough knew him.
But Turlough would be a liar if he said his heart didn't skip a beat.
He felt a bit guilty, though. While technically Turlough has cheated on Hagrid, all those previous times it had just been sex. This was different. Even if Turlough thought he had no chance that the Doctor would look at him this way (he thought the Doctor was straight, he's got a granddaughter, for crying out loud), Turlough still felt a bit guilty about still having those feelings while married to the half-giant.
Long story short, he's sitting at the table of their hut, drinking down firewhiskey, a napping Artemis in his lap.
