He'd been thinking about it for a while.

Sneaking into the mangosteen grove, that is. And getting a pet fruit bat too. But no, Kurama had said it would be good to ask for A's permission first. Kuronue didn't quite want to be a goody goody and do as Kurama said, so instead of owling him like a respectable person would do, he waited until A was already at the grove and ambushed him.

With chocolates, a reproachful expression and a generally calm nature.

So that was why he was walking towards A, who he knew was within the grove, a box of sweet bribery in hand.
