[Open RP] Reading ahead

Caron was smoking. And drinking coffee. And reading.

Namely, he was reading about the forming of the European Union. Quite fascinating stuff, really. Made going across borders easier. Funny the UK was still not in it, probably still hurt that they weren't allowed in the Common Market.

Yes, if Caron lives long enough to see it, seeing the beginnings of the EU will be interesting indeed.

However, he's almost at the end of the book, and ready for a distraction.

West Tower problems (closed for Hiei and Lezard Valeth)

It was a number of hours since Hiei left Kurama in the Great Hall. In those hours he'd been around the school looking for a place with no people and perhaps a couple of nice windows. Hiei needed to be alone after his recent...experience. Silence helped him reflect on difficult emotions. Hiei soon found the towers were a good place to mope. But now, as he discovered with intense frustration, he couldn't find a way out of this one. Apparently he was lost in the West Tower.

Well, perhaps lost wasn't the best word; trapped was more appropriate. Hiei knew where the exit was, that was easy enough to discover with his Jagan. What drove him up a wall was that the exit wouldn't stop moving.

"Damn it all!" he exclaimed angrily as he came face to face with yet another stone wall. He felt like the school was laughing at him as he vanished again for another escape attempt. He reappeared on a staircase which only moved him back to the same hall he'd been to at least twenty times now. It was a spacious one with a few high windows and an ugly statue. With an aggravated sigh, Hiei jumped up and landed on a windowsill, settling into a reclined position to brood. At least he was alone...and he was sure he'd find a way out sooner or later.

Hopefully sooner. This place sucked.
