Lezard's gray cat familiar refused to carry any more messages after trotting back and forth between Lezard and George Weasley. The aggrieved young mage teleported a startled owl out of the school Owlery and pressed it into service.

A boy and a cat tumbled out of the fireplace in Ravenclaw.

B laid sprawled out on the floor a few minutes, before sitting up and dusting himself off, a rather pleased expression on his face. Dwight had been mean! He wasn't going to allow A or L or B to make requests. (Never mind that B didn't make requests, but...) So B had 'persuaded' (read: beaten up) Dwight to let them use their initials.

He was rather proud of himself.

The cat, also known as mean B, had skulked off to a corner to clean himself. He would never admit it, but that was kinda fun. And he agreed with B on this one.
