Cooper had asked Major Briggs to join him in the Ravenclaw common room for conversation and a cup of coffee. He had a couple of years of Hogwarts history to go over, and he wanted to hear in more detail what had been going down in Twin Peaks since he disappeared into the Black Lodge.

He wanted to hear what had happened to Annie Blackburn, especially.

He also needed to tell Briggs about the life and teachings of Mr. Butlertron.
