Roxas was relieved that Reno had managed to find a shower for him, the shower near his house nonetheless. He walked in, expecting to be greeted by a solitary spicket, waiting patiently for someone like himself to come by and take use of its services. Unfortunately, a solitary spicket was the last thing he saw upon entering the large tiled room.

This was a community shower?! Roxas was surprised to say the least. I mean, this was a magical castle wasn't it, couldn't they just use said magic to spy if they really wanted to? A man enjoys his privacy you know. The blonde boy sighed, taking a few steps towards a bench so he could begin to undress. As awkward as it was he really needed to wash off this butter.

It was after he had stripped himself of his shirt that Roxas heard a voice emitting from the water drenched tile a short distance away. Great, now not only was he in a community shower, but he was going to have to share it with someone his first time. This was going to be fun... sarcasm dripping from his thoughts.

He listened hard, trying to make out what the person was singing. He unbuckled his pants, sliding them off as he strained to understand whatever language the person was singing in. It was definitely not english. Discontent with his inability to make out the voice's true purpose he moved slowly towards the row of showers. And that is when it happened...

A glint of crimson, a voice he would recognize in his sleep... that was most definitely his best friend in the flesh. Nothing but the flesh actually, right in front of him. Roxas stared wide-eyed at the taller boy for a split second before turning to run away, as fast as possible.

Freshly Sorted and now half-naked thanks to the Hat, John Amsterdam stood outside the Sorting Room with his shirt, jacket, and a brand new towel in his arms. He was a Ravenclaw, which sounded like a good thing. They were supposed to be the smart ones.

"You have my towel," a voice said behind him. John turned around, and nearly dropped the whole mess.

Dieter Prohl was taking the "half" out of "half-naked." Bare as the metaphorical jaybird, he stood with his hands out, ready to take the towel back. John handed it over without a word.

"I'm not surprised it came to this," the tennis player said with a German accent. "All human struggle is because of the destruction of the self. It was always meant to be a personal struggle, but now I'm afraid that is not the case." He finished tucking in the towel, and laid a hand on John's shoulder. "I'm afraid this won't end well for us."

Dieter turned and walked away from the very confused cop. "We'll meet again," he said. "Kommen Sie oben und sehen Sie mich einmal."

Mr. Wednesday figures that while Wednesday is his day, there will be far too many tiresome puns should he elect to hold Ancient Runes class on that day. Friday is a good day for many things. Ergo, he'll hold a class on Friday, following the example of the estimable Dr. Grant.

The sign-up sheet is posted outside the Great Hall. It reads as follows:

Ancient Runes class will be held on Friday the 21st of March, which is the Friday of the coming week. Students will not need copies of Ancient Runes Made Easy. Ancient runes are never easy. If you own that textbook, you may as well sell it back to the bookshop where you bought it.

Sign up below to attend the class. Your instructor will be Mr. Wednesday, Professor of Ancient Runes.

With the knowledge that L is willing to pay for any computer equipment he might need (which is a relief - he hadn't been looking forward to attempting to get his hands on someone's credit card while shopping with the world's greatest detective), Matt had gone to Hogsmeade and used the last of his money to purchase a wand.

Now he needs to find out what to do with it.

So, he's heading for the library. What he understands of wizarding culture suggests there isn't going to be much on cybermagic, but Matt isn't against figuring out things on his own.
