((Timed to the day all these wacky marriage shenanigans began.))

Charles’s sister, it transpired, had been assigned a tent just a short stretch of grass away. (The nearest map, on the other hand, was all the way on the other side of whatever that strange thing with the swan boats thought it was, and took a little finding.) Dale couldn’t help but stare at the tents all around them, and especially the one she and Charles had exited — they all looked so tiny, and yet when she’d been inside it had been easily the size of a modest house. What was the appropriate phrase here? ‘A wizard did it’?

She could reach the roof, for crying out loud. And she waved her hand over it, just to make sure — yep, thin air.

A resigned expression crept onto her face. Magic. She was never going to get used to it.

The tent opposite theirs was identical, except for the noises coming from within: the breaths and bodies of two people, Dale estimated, one slow and steady with sleep and the other decidedly less than ecstatic. Dale glanced at Charles and then knocked on the tent’s flap, half-expecting the canvas to sound solid like a house’s wooden door. It made a damp little sound instead.

Hey guys. This is long, long overdue, and I'm sorry for not doing this earlier, but it's time to leave H_H. My job took over my life this summer, and I'll be going back to school in a week, so... yeah. Real Life will be taking over shortly. Squeegee and Victor Van Dort (... oy, I'd actually forgotten I still had him ^^;) are officially popcorn. Thanks for all the good times and glorious glorious crack, guys! I'll miss you!

Having returned from her mun's writer's block a short trip home to her family, as some things were best explained in person, Sarah had gone out to the lake while she wrote and then sent Muninn off with a few quick notes and clicked send on a brief email.

WHO: Sarah and OPEN
WHERE: The lake, just before sunset

While the Astronomy Tower was definitely the highest vantage point to stargaze, Sarah prefered the lake, as the sunset from that position was always beautiful and the sky a far better sight to view if she could lay on her back on a blanket in the grass instead. The lake had been the place she had first met Lily and a few others she felt great affection for, so perhaps it would work in her favour again and bring someone new to befriend. There were so many here she did not know and she definitely wanted to change that. If that game to her while watching the sunset and seeign the stars, rather than actively seeking it out at Sortings where people were often disoriented, all the better.

Zoidberg, proving once again that he was the word’s greatest Inspect Doctor, had solved the case of the missing hat-lady! You just couldn’t trust puppies. Murderers and thieves, the lot of ‘em.

Still, in spite of Zoidberg’s genius, his thoughtful wife had decided that it was still a good idea to pantomime an investigation. Zoidberg completely understood, understanding husband that he was. After all, people had shown up! Bereft with bitterness, they’d be, if they went home without doing any investigating.

So investigate, they would! Asserting his authority –he’d show that hat who the husband in the relationship was!- Zoidberg got down to Business.

“You, you, you, and you! You are team Sassafras Omelet+!” It was all about the cool names. “Go make with the house inspecting. And get me a nice cold cola, while you’re at it!”

“You, you, you, and you*! You are team Sautéed Disco! Go into town and buy me some potato chips! And if you maybe want to look for Mrs. Hat Lady, that’s okay. But don’t you dare forgot those potatoes chips! Don’t you dare!”

Then, because he was on a roll (and who were we to block Zoidberg’s overwhelming cascade of authoritative masculinity?) he pointed to two bystanders. “You and you^! Go ask my wife if she likes me, check yes or no!” Said wife was currently in deep conversation with a young blond man and a redheaded girl. What? Zoidberg needed a little bit of reassurance!
