((Takes place right after Lily leaves up until the 2nd. Warning for emo and tl;dr-ness.))
( Cold water, cleaning my wounds/A side parade, with a single balloon/I'm done with this, I'm counting to ten/Blue as seas, running to them )
---
( I feel like I am watching everything from space/And in a minute I hear my name and I wake/I think the finish line's a good place we could start/Take a deep breath, take in all that you could want )
---
Lily’s arrival back at Hogwarts was just as uneventful as her leaving. She picked up her pets from Robin and declined to discuss anything about her trip. Then she headed to her room, gratefully flopping into her armchair and ordering tea from a house-elf that appeared at her summons. One more thing to be done before she dove into research - she’d been gone from the Wing for over a month now and was embarrassingly behind. She hoped to bury herself in her neglected books and get caught up enough to start back to work in the next week.
Besides, nothing would distract her from her current situation with Sirius like an few all-night study session. And Merlin knew that her brain wouldn’t let her sleep, not with all that had happened.
She jotted off a quick note, sending it off with Mr. Quackers. Then, sipping her cuppa, Lily opened a book and began scratching notes.
( Duck to Dean, heavily warded )
