It had been far too long since Samwell had spent any time with Jon, and he found that he missed him. So one fine cold morning after a walk, Sam was returning to the castle when he spotted Jon, out on business of his own.

A grin split his face and he waved cheerfully. "Jon! Hello! Have you got time for a chat?"

After he had been Sorted, Tweek went to his room and put his stuff away. His underpants went in the lockbox, and the key safely around his neck. "Let's see those gnomes get them there." he muttered as he left the room. He had to keep better track of his underpants, since 'going commando' didn't sound like a good idea.

Armed only with a flashlight (in case things got dark) and a fresh cup of coffee, he began searching the castle for gnomes. "They have to be here somewhere.."

A cloaked figure entered the Sorting Room, face hidden beneath a hood and a long grey scarf. It regarded the application intently for a long moment, and finally picked up a quill, pushing the hood back with the other hand. Her face was a ruin--white as chalk, with ragged wounds dealt by her own fingernails and spotted with dark areas of rot. Her hair was as white as her skin, long and brittle, and when she removed the scarf her neck was little more than a dark gaping wound.

Owen was sitting in the library working on some of his homework. He was pouring through some books trying to decipher what was going on around here. Some of it seemed fascinating but he obviously had gotten that done first and was stuck with the boring stuff. He decided to take this moment to stand up and stretch out. He glanced around at the bookshelves around him and at some of the titles.
