A stack of recipes tucked in the crook of her arm, Sarah waited outside the portrait of the fruit in the corridor. Being pretty much missing in action for over two weeks between her holiday and her self-imposed seclusion after, she was looking forward to seeing Domino again and having some fun while doing all this cooking. Humming cheerfully, she grinned at the portait. Why the pear amused her, she was not truly sure, but it did and she was impatient to make the thing giggle.

Yayness. But I'm back on a normal schedule now))
Data materialized in a swirl of blue particles, standing in the middle of his rarely-seen dormitory: other than returning to change his clothing, he had spent very little time here. His bed was still made and unslept-in.
If he were human, he supposed he would probably collapse into it. The Enterprise had called him away quite suddenly because of an emergency on Marobhar V; apparently a cyberneticist there had succeed in creating an extremely hostile A.I., and Starfleet in its infinite wisdom had decreed he was best equipped to neutralize the threat.
...disturbing. He had found himself increasingly thinking in uncharacteristic ways; were he not entirely convinced he wasn't capable of it, he would almost think it was sarcasm. Geordi, too, had noted a change.
Perhaps Hogwarts was good for him.
He had also come a decision, or thought he had; faced with actually acting on it be found himself reviewing the thought process and analysis that had led to that decision. Barely a second passed as his eyes flickered almost imperceptibly.
There was no flaw he could detect. So he sat down at one of the desks and composed a brief note, then went in search of a school owl.

jd-octor.livejournal.comOK, I'm off on a quick hiatus again. Sorry guys! Anyway, I'm off on holiday for five days, and won't be back until Tuesday at the earliest. Here's the excuses:
Agnes Nutter: Is still up in the Hospital Wing as normal.
JD: Has been on holiday with Jack, the Doctor and Rose anyway, so has been out of touch.
Emo!Dalek: Is still writing angsty poetry in it's room, and shall make everyone cry when he prints it.
Hermione Granger: Is in the library with her new pass to the restricted section! Yay!
Jack Shepard: Continues to exist somewhere, and will be used as soon as I can get around to making him post.
Well, have a great few days everyone! I'll miss you!
