After the more or less disasterous events that followed the Doctor owling Claire, the two of them finally wandered back into the common room. "Right then, come on, sit down." He maneuvered Claire into a seat by the fireplace.
"Said I'd get you some tea, didn't I? Tea's good for lots of things, calming frayed nerves being one of them. ...Right, just have to find some tea around here...ah, here we go." With a flick of his wand, a pair of cups and a teapot full of water wandered over, and with another, teabags plopped into it
yes, they just happened to all be sitting there. "I could get used to this. Won't be but a few ticks," he added, teapot now over the fireplace.
"I'm sorry," he then apologized. "Didn't mean to drag you into that situation there. You sure you're all right? Good night's rest will do you good."
