He'd change the size of the boxes later, once they were out of sight, so that they wouldn't have to lug them too far.

He placed his card on the table between them, not blinking at the price, though it was an amount of money he would never have dreamed of amassing when he was in his early hundreds. The shopkeeper ran the card through a machine, and another spat a document out at him. Kuronue was glad he'd been explained the whole process at length and several times when he'd gone to the human bank.

When he was asked to sign, Kuronue almost told him he was only semi literate and that he had to be joking, but he nodded smoothly instead, taking the pen from the shopkeeper and barely managing to keep his shaking under control as he swallowed thickly, Yukimura's imagery hardly helping in the least.

He scribbled, set the pen down and took his card back. It went beneath his belt again. "I thank you for your assistance. Next time I feel like indulging Mamechiho I'll be sure to come by here."
