The renewal of mental contact was largely unexpected but at the moment welcome, and the Master freely opened access to the physical sensations he felt, and the more immediate emotions. He'd shifted his thoughts to mere emotions and concepts; lousy for telepathic conversations, good for allowing an empathic bond without giving too much away. The impression of guilt was baffling, but something he could ponder later; the doubled physical sensations were demanding precedence.
