Pfui ((Open RP, Nero Wolfe, Great Hall))

There were few things that Nero Wolfe found more irritating than being away from comfort of his personal castle on 35th Avenue. The difficulty in obtaining the quality of ingredients was something he was more used to, but the infernal idiot boxes that had sprung up and played at all times, regardless of the efforts he made to turn them off and the house elves refused his demands to turn them off, regardless of how he bellowed.

His dilemma became that he needed to eat and for him to do so, he had to not only go to the kitchens, but also the Great Hall, where he was assaulted with the distasteful noise of an abomination and insult to intelligence. He didn't even care for the sound of the radio while eating, preferring conversation or silence while eating.

Glowering at the televisions, he put food in his mouth, looking as though he would rather be a thousand miles away, which wasn't far from the truth.
