Bobby remained still when the angel dropped his gaze, concerned that he had either embarassed Cas or managed to piss him off. He hadn't meant to slip like that. Cas was family, it was how he thought of him, even if he had never intended to come out and tell him like that.
When Castiel apologized, Bobby looked genuinely surprised. "Cas, your vessel was what? Two? You ain't got nothin to apologize for. It wasn't your fault. Even I didn't realize what was wrong until we were too far in. I should've said somethin, but it was my job to look out for you."
The old hunter grimaced and rubbed his forehead. Even mentioning the tower seemed to make his headache intensify. "You get rid of this headache and we can call it even," he said, his voice strained.
