"If you had thought," Kusuriyuri retorted, his voice still soft, narrowing his eyes slightly at Youko. His expression neutralized when he glaced over at Kuronue and Yukimura. "It is best this is further discussed in private and when proper thought may be given to it," he said, his voice much closer to his normal tone.
Yukimura nodded, fighting the urge to cling to Kuronue. He hadn't realized, before now, just how much he relied upon their bond.
