Kurama by this time was almost shaking with mortification, and it got worse when Youko's foot shot out and kicked open a door. It wasn't Kusuriyuri's door, they still weren't at the tower proper but it was a door and he could see clear as day what Youko was planning... and had absolutely no ability or inclination to stop it.
It was an unused room, a few desks and chairs and an old dusty couch the only decoration, Youko shoved Kurama off his shoulder and onto the couch, then set Kuronue down with a little more care. Then he stepped back and smiled.
"You little mortals play nice now," he said, fire and evil glittering in his eyes. "I'm going to go talk with Koibito. And Kurama," he reached out and tweaked his other half's nose, earning an indignant smack on the hand for his troubles, "tell the truth." He leaned in and gave them both a kiss, lingering a little longer with Kuronue, and then vanished. Kurama could hear/feel Youko casting a locking spell on the door, and then... they were alone.
