Blind Seer nipped gently at Firekeeper's leg. "Dear heart..."

She sighed and scratched his ruff. "Be polite, I know. Would you like me to answer the rest?"

In the New World, where they had been born and raised, magic had been a horribly taboo thing, and it had been rather traumatizing for Blind Seer to realize that not only did he have a magical ability, but that it was spellcasting. He had since come to terms with it, but it remained a prickly subject. He huffed. "For now, be guarded, please."

Back to the woman, Firekeeper said, "He has learned some. It is enough."
