China had been reading Hogwarts: A History, a copy given to her by Albus Dumbledore, while she waited. For Mordichai's high academic and business ethic China thought that Ravenclaw would be an idle place, from what she read. Mr. Black seemed to possess a honed aptitude for no-nonsense behaviour, he was smart, clearly, from his vocabulary and a wit to him that, as she had read, was one of Ravenclaw's defining attributes.
But there was that cape...
Could she oversee such a monstrous display of fashion for academia? Alas, she wasn't in a position to vote, and so the dilemma his cape caused would have to wait until the next caped-crusader flounces into Hogwarts, for now, all she could do was be courteous.
"Oh yes, I can understand that." China smiled, snapping the book shut in her hand. "I myself can't comment much, for I have been in this room for a long time. At least, it seems a long time." She couldn't help smirking, she was ages old, and yet the small time spent in the sorting room seemed to last much longer. "I am sure there are business opportunities presented here that use little magic. You may find solace in those career goals while you find a way home."
