Unable to wait any longer now that everyone had agreed to go flying with him, Adam sent owls to Nny, Susan, River, Kaylee, Teatime, Harry, Ginny, and Devi to let them know that he'd gone down to the Quidditch pitch and to meet him there. He snatched his broom and practically ran down to the field, excited to meet new people and get into the air once again.

"You're..." He thought for a moment. "You're good at being who you're supposed to be, aren't you? Just enough, I mean."

"I don't know. Different people do give different reviews. I passed my classes, and I do try to keep up the behaviour."

"I do hope so. I should hate to have them biased against me."

"I don't think any of the professors actually like me. But if any of them actively hate me, I don't know about it."

"Why? A lot of people hate me. Not always for long, of course, but I have more limits here."

"Because you aren't causing trouble, are you? And they can't go after you for nothing, and get away with it."

"Yeah, but you don't have to go after someone openly to make problems for them."

"There's only one that I care that much about, and in his case I'd really prefer something more final."

Nny smiled and cracked his knuckles. "Oh, yes."

"Professor Crowley. Who I don't think dislikes me."

"I think that he wouldn't. He didn't seem to be biased, to me, in the last class..."

"Yeah, he seems okay. He doesn't piss me off just by existing, at least."
