The Baron nodded. "A bit of both- there's something genetic to the Navigators, apparently only some people are capable of surviving the mutations. The majority of the Guild is perfectly human. They just don't like to act that way." A wry smirk creased his lips as he recalled how abstract and deliberately mysterious the Guild liked to behave. "Difficult to overthrow, since they're an unavoidable necessity. But one that's for sale. The Guild can't be trusted, but, their addictions can be. It's all about the spice."
